Our history and experience – SEDCO is a not-for-profit certified development corporation (CDC) that was born out of the merger between Gulfcoast Business Finance (which served St. Petersburg/Jacksonville/Miami) and the Tampa Economic Development Corporation. These two CDCs had 30 years of experience each in helping small businesses succeed. SEDCO, now headquartered in Clearwater, continues to build on that experience and serves the entire sunny state of Florida.
